It is a condition of the letting that you will be the temporary responsible person for the Fire Safety Risk Assessments required for the letting of Treowen and that you will be responsible for the safety of your guests during their stay at Treowen. (You can download the Risk Assessments and Advice on Health and Safety from the “Links” page of our website www.treowen.co.uk.) However you can delegate the tasks involved to other members of your party.
The house is surrounded by a working tenanted farm. Please take care near any farm machinery, particularly of children, as the operator may not be able to see them. For safety reasons you may only go into the farm buildings with specific permission. Swimming in the ponds and lakes is not allowed.
Payment in full is required for bookings less than 8 weeks in advance. A deposit of 25% of the charge is required to confirm bookings made more than 8 weeks in advance. The balance must be paid at least 8 weeks before the beginning of the holiday. Once a confirmation of booking has been sent, you are responsible for the full cost of your holiday as shown on the confirmation. Refunds less an administration charge of £40 will only be made if we are able to re-book Treowen for the same period.
Payment may be made by cheque (payable to R.A. & J.P. Wheelock) or bank transfer (09-06-66 42493278).
When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email.
