Treowen offers capacious accommodation for very large parties - twelve
bedrooms (5 double, 2 twin, 4 either twin or double and 1 family room with a double and a single bed) and reception
rooms to match.
The refectory table in the dining room seats sixteen in comfort. Up to
forty can be seated in the dining room or if you feel more expansive the
banqueting hall will seat eighty five to ninety.
There are two sitting rooms on the ground floor, the former nursery and
the Oak room - an oak panelled gem with open fireplace. The long drawing
room on the first floor is a room for concerts and celebrations - huge
open fireplace and grand piano.
The banqueting hall now has its original passage screen and the huge open fireplace has been restored - table
tennis and pool table.
The kitchen with its farmhouse table has cutlery and crockery for up to
forty and cooking utensils to match.
Five of the bedrooms have en suite showers and W.C.s. There are a further two shower rooms and one bathroom all with W.C.s and two
separate W.C.s.
The south garden with informal beds has sweeping views over a ha-ha of
historic fish ponds and across a valley landscape. The lawn garden
enclosed by tall yew hedges is ideal for rough and ready outdoor games.
